PlanNYC 2030
On Earth Day 2007, Mayor Michael R. Bloomberg, released PlaNYC, a comprehensive sustainability plan for the City’s future.
New York has set the goal of reducing its citywide carbon emissions by 30 percent below 2005 levels.
Local Law 84 requires buildings over 50,000 square feet to submit a benchmark report to the Department of Finance by May 1, 2011 (penalty phase revised to August 1, 2011)
ECS’ Benchmarking Service provides compliance with Local Law 84 of the GGBP Legislation, implements a monitoring and benchmarking platform and generates requisite annual benchmarking reports.
ECS will manage the benchmarking process, including:
- Comprehensive energy bill analysis
- Generating a Benchmarking Report for each building
- Filing necessary compliance documentation with the city
