LED Lighting Upgrades
ECS has installed over 400,000 LED lamps in commercial and retail establishments since 2009. This process has removed over 25MW (25,000 KW) off of the national energy grid. Additionally, with substantial utility rebates, ECS will have captured upwards of $12 million in rebate incentive by the end of 2011.
Simply put - ECS is the leader in LED Rollout – Supply, Installation and Rebates.
LED LAMP REPLACEMENT FACTS:
-
ENERGY SAVINGS:
-
LEDs use between 1/10th and 1/3rd the energy of a typical incandescent lamp. The energy savings are incomparable in the lighting industry.
-
LONG LIFE:
LEDs last longer than any other type of light bulbs and may last up to 100,000 hours - 11 years of continuous use. The manufacturers that ECS works with offer either three or five year warranties.
LEDs have no filaments or moving parts and can withstand shaking and vibrating without breaking. They do not use ballasts which can fail and become a fire hazard. LEDs work well in hot or cold environments and can withstand moderate power surges. LEDs are not bothered by frequent cycling on or off and can be left on for extended periods without generating heat, thus reducing overall HVAC costs.
-
ECOLOGICAL IMPACT:
LEDs are 100% recyclable. Unlike fluorescent and HID technologies, LEDs contain no toxic materials, hazardous mercury, or halogen gases. LEDs emit no ultraviolet (UV) rays or infrared (IR) radiation. Unlike compact fluorescents, LEDs do not require a Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) or hazardous waste disposal. Retrofitting to LEDs creates energy efficiencies, reducing your carbon footprint—the impact of human activities regarding the amount of greenhouse gases produced.
Natural, eye-pleasing spectrum - White and soft white LEDs produce a full-spectrum light closely resembling daylight, illuminating tasks and enhancing work, school, and retail environments. LEDs can provide exceptional directional lighting to enlighten a work area and create a bright, clear light for showcasing retail products.
